Quick friendly service of savory Mexican dishes. Had some kind of soup that was a side to the tacos, outstanding. Taco meat was fresh and really good. Local restaurant vibe with Mexican music playing.
The plates here are large and very filling. There are complimentary chips and salsa. I had the shrimp dish which comes with rice and a simple salad. The flavors were garlicky and light. The shrimps were not overcooked.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place! A Tex Mex guy in New Mexico. Really great food. Service is pleasant. I'm here for a few days and plan on eating here again. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I plan on trying them all! Had lunch a few days ago. Basic cheese enchiladas. Great basic meal. Sauce was great. After that dinner tonight w/ a Fajita type meal. I'll provide the name next review. The charro beans were a little under cooked but good flavor. Highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is typical Mexican style restaurant. Nice decor.
Our first experience was great as we are from Hobbs.We really liked ALL items on our dish were very well made AND TASTED GREAT. When in Artesia this will be the restaurant we will come back again.
